Filed just hours after California announced its own suit against the city for defying state housing laws, Huntington Beach's lawsuit is truly mind-boggling both in content and form. It alleges, among other things, that California's housing laws violate the city's free speech and due process rights, interfere with interstate commerce and run afoul of both the U.
